This year, the Rainbow Festival is one of the actions included in the 2007 European Year of Equal Opportunities for All and co-funded by the European Commission.
The Festival has established itself in the consciousness of those engaged in the struggle against racism and for multiculturalism and it plays a decisive role in the fight against racism, for promotion of respect for diversity, the exchange and development of relations between different cultures and multiculturalism.
On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, this year the Rainbow Festival will be held in Nicosia on 4 November and Limassol on 11 November 2007.
The Rainbow Festival is being organised by KISA - Action for Equality, Support, Antiracism in cooperation with organisations of the migrant, refugee and asylum seeker communities and of foreign students in Cyprus, as well as with other local NGOs and agencies.
