Asylum Seekers are very often confronted with a number of barriers, such as strict employment policies, discriminatory treatment, language barriers, unfamiliarity with the local labour market and the opportunities it offers for employment, no recognition of qualifications, difficult psychological state, family responsibilities, etc.

This information booklet aims to provide advice to asylum seekers in order to access to the regulated rights regarding their reception conditions.

Additionally, the publication aims to make asylum seekers aware about the most frequently faced practical problems and suggests possible ways to avoid and overcome them.
