A 28-YEAR-old Sri Lankan farmhand died after he was left untreated for two days after sustaining severe head injuries from a fall.Immigrant support group KISA is holding his employer and a private Nicosia clinic responsible.State pathologist Nicholas Charalambous said yesterday he had launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
2008 Rainbow Festival
KISA – Action for Equality, Support, Antiracism and the Cyprus Youth Board, in cooperation with other Cypriot human rights organisations and communities of migrants and refugees are organising the 11th Rainbow Festival.

Under the motto «Different Colours – One Country», the Festival is focused on the wealth and delight of colours and calls for joining the fight for integration and equal participation of all for substantially effecting multiculturalism, irrespective of race, colour, ethnic origin, religion, community, gender or any other differences.

The Festival is under the auspices of the Minister of Education and Culture Mr Andreas Demetriou
