Asylum seekers are regularly confronted with a number of difficulties along their asylum process, mostly due to the lack of information regarding their rights and obligations during the examination of their application.

KISA – Action for Equality, Support and Antiracism, developed within the framework of its services at the Migrant and Refugee Centres in Nicosia and Limassol various publications in order to provide free legal advice to asylum seekers in the context of the refugee status determination procedures regarding the substance of their asylum claim as well as for access to the regulated rights regarding reception conditions.

Additionally, the publication aims to make asylum seekers aware of the practices followed by the authorities and the most frequently faced practical problems and suggests possible ways to avoid and overcome them.
