Dear friends

On the occasion of International Human Rights Day on the 10 of December, an art competition is being launched, which aims to promote and highlight the importance of Human Rights Day. Entries can be submitted in two categories: (a) photography and (b) painting/poster. The winning entries as well as a selection of the best artwork submitted will be presented at a ceremony on the 10th of December, which is International Human Rights Day.


This competition is an initiative of two non-governmental organizations: KISA - Action for Equality, Support, Antiracism, and the Turkish Cypriot Human Rights Foundation and is supported by the Embassy of Netherlands.



Αγαπητοί φίλοι,

Με αφορμή τους εορτασμούς για την Παγκόσμια Μέρα Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων στις 10 Δεκεμβρίου, προκηρύσσεται καλλιτεχνικός διαγωνισμός που στόχο έχει να προβάλει το περιεχόμενο και τη σημασία της Παγκόσμιας Μέρας Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων. Θα μπορούν να υποβάλλονται έργα σε δυο κατηγορίες : (α) φωτογραφία και (β) ζωγραφική/ αφίσα. Τα έργα που θα βραβευθούν, όπως και άλλα επιλεγμένα έργα θα παρουσιαστούν σε εκδήλωση στις 10 Δεκεμβρίου, στην οποία θα εορταστεί και η Παγκόσμια Μέρα Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων.

Ο διαγωνισμός προκηρύσσεται από τις Μη Κυβερνητικές Οργανώσεις ΚΙΣΑ (Κίνηση για Ισότητα, Στήριξη, Αντιρατσισμό) και το Τουρκοκυπριακό Ίδρυμα Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων και υποστηρίζεται από την Ολλανδική Πρεσβεία.
