KISA supports and promotes the rights of children, which it sets as a priority in its activities. The educational and recreational activities organized aim at bringing together children from different communities living in Cyprus, at helping them to integrate into the society and at developing their talents and skills.

In order to achieve this goal, KISA has been organizing and offering a Multicultural Summer Workshop for children for free since 2007, in which children from various communities, both Cypriots and immigrants (or “both from Cypriot and foreign origin”), aged between 6-15, take part to. The workshop is organized in cooperation with professionals sensitized in multicultural issues. This year, the workshop will take place between 5-18 July 2010. Children will be engaged in creative team activities, including art, music, athletics (football, basketball, swimming), dance, theatre, photography, film shows, excursions, visits and will also engage in debates and discussions.
